The IoT Egypt Forum is formed of a number of work groups. Each work group has a set of goals and is responsible for studying these goals and assisting the community both business and academic to achieve them.
IoT Egypt Forum workgroups will work on 2 axis’s:
First axis: aims to create an enabling environment for the deployment of IoT services in the Egyptian market, and includes two workgroups:
- Workgroup (1): Recommendations for securing data and developing regulatory and legislative frameworks.
- Workgroup (2): Programs and mechanisms for qualifying human cadres trained in this field in Egypt.
Second axis: aims to form partnerships and plan feasible projects, and includes four workgroups:
- Workgroup (3): includes
- public services, including health, education, environment, transport and logistics services, tourism, …etc.
- Public utilities, including all public utilities (such as electricity, gas, water, sanitation, …), in addition to housing projects and smart cities.
- Agriculture, food security, irrigation and water resources.
2. Workgroup (4): for industrialization and applications of the fourth industrial revolution.
