The main goals of the workgroup 4 are:
- Monitoring and studying the challenges and obstacles facing the technologies and services of the Internet of Things in the field of industry and its applications
- Develop a vision of the necessary solutions and recommendations to increase the spread of the Internet of Things technologies and enhance its use
- Develop recommendations and proposals to localize related industries, especially the electronics industry
- Sharing experiences that have been implemented in different sectors in the Egyptian market
- Benefit from the best international practices and experiences in this regard
- Develop recommendations and proposals to support ensuring the continuity of local SMEs
- Implementation of prototypes and applications to show the recommendations and proposals submitted, while encouraging the contribution of local manufacturing
- Developing proposals for tender documents templates and deployment for Internet of Things services and systems
- Any other items proposed and approved by the working group members
