The main goals of the workgroup 3 are:
- Monitoring and studying the challenges and obstacles facing IoT technologies and services in the field of
- public services, including health, education, environment, transport and logistics services, tourism, …etc.
- public utilities, including all public utilities (such as electricity, gas, water, sanitation, …), in addition to housing projects and smart cities.
- agriculture, food security, irrigation and water resources.
- Develop a vision of the necessary solutions and recommendations to increase the spread of the Internet of Things technologies and enhance its use
- Sharing experiences that have been implemented in different sectors in the Egyptian market
- Benefit from the best international practices and experiences in this regard
- Implementation of prototypes and applications to show the recommendations and proposals submitted, while encouraging the contribution of local manufacturing
- Developing proposals for tender documents templates and deployment for Internet of Things services and systems
- Any other items proposed and approved by the working group members
