At 9 March 2023, the first workshop to be organized under the umbrella of the Egypt IoT Forum – WorkGroup (4) was held where companies and consulting offices, such as the Administrative Capital Company for Urban Development, the Consulting Engineers Group, Talaat Mostafa Group and others participated to present their expertise in public utilities and smart cities. Urban Communities Agency, the Domestic and International Land Transport Regulatory Authority and other companies shared the challenges that face them. International experiences and the latest research and developments in the field of the Internet of Things were also presented. Finally, the regulatory framework for the Internet of Things issued by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority was presented and discussed.
