July to December 2017 was the first round of the community work organized by the IoT Egypt Forum. Three work groups are formed from volunteers from the ICT community who participated in putting the initial thoughts of the expectations, recommendations and challenges of IoT in three areas:
- The IoT Regulations’ Requirements for Devices and Communication
- The IoT Use-case Scenarios
- The IoT Body of Knowledge (BoK)
Summary reports of the work groups are published except for the Regulations work group whose outputs are still under review and validation from the related authorities.
