Tues. 9th May 2017 witnessed the first gathering for the IoT Egypt forum members. Membership is activated and IoT forum members will start working within organized workgroups to impact the ICT community.
The first gathering event was held in ITIDA premises, B121, Smart Village on Tues. 9th May 2017 (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM). During the event, the forum vision, mission, and strategy were shared with the forum members. The event also fostered speakers from the community who shared experiences and use cases for implementing IoT in Egypt.
There was a slot for open discussion about the experience and expectation of the forum members.
IoT Egypt forum members showed their interest in joining one of the three workgroups discussed during the event; The IoT Regulations’ Requirements for Devices and Communication, The IoT Use-case Scenarios, and The IoT Body of Knowledge (BoK).
